Organisation of P+

The P+ is a regular practical lecture, analogously to the physics lab P3, the InGroup-Projects, the Semester Thesis or the Proseminar. It's intended for students in their third year of physics studies.

Introduction Event

There will be an introductory event in the first week of the semester, on Thursday, 18th of September 2025, 15:00 in HPP K 25. This introduction is mandatory for participating in P+: The groups will be formed and the tasks for the introduction experiment "Experiment ZERO" from Monday, 22nd of Sept will be assigned.

Signing up

You can sign up for P+ via mystudies (link to the lecture catalogue), and there's a limitation to 36 students per semester (6 groups with 6 students).

Publication and Weekly Structure

There's an exhaustive scientific publication about P+, which gives you a detailed overview of the motivation behind P+, its learning goals, the structure and an evaluation of the effectiveness of project-oriented lab courses.
